We did kangaroo care for the entire time he was in hospital, for as long as we could every single day, and continued at home. I am a baby wearer, though not as much these days, as I now have a very independent and curious almost 14 month old who is into everything. I love the way you wrote about the freedom of exploration, as so many felt the need to tell me that I was creating a clingy child who would never leave my side. I fully agree with what you have written, and am glad that others feel the same as I do.GayleOShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00751373935409090804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6222281678712659814.post-22396445003255048242012-08-04T22:37:33.144-04:002012-08-04T22:37:33.144-04:00Dear Blogger. From what I've read so far on here, you're doing an excellent job with it either way! I ask because my second child was 2 months premmie and had a low birth weight but is doing well now. The system in Japan is very different to back home {Australia} and while we did kangaroo care a lot during the 7 weeks he was in hospital we were not free to go visit him anytime we wanted. He is now breastfed though but it was a tough start and he was bottlefed breastmilk for the first 7 weeks.

Love the box with the hole in the side. I think my toddler would even like that now still but it would be nice for the baby as well. I made some sensory bottles recently but they did not get played with as much as I thought...I need to find some smaller bottled I think {I only had 500ml ones}....love the yarn and the oil idea.

Am loving these posts!
